Procedure
  1. Pre-Event Planning:

    • Procure supplies such as ice cream, toppings, cones, cups, napkins, and utensils.
    • Create and distribute invitations to residents and their adult children.
    • Coordinate with staff and/or volunteers for assistance during the event.
  2. Setup:
    • Arrange tables and chairs to create a welcoming ice cream parlor ambiance.
    • Decorate the space with themed decorations, such as balloons, streamers, and signage.
    • Set up the ice cream station with scoops, toppings, cones, cups, and utensils.
  3. Event:
    • Greet guests as they arrive and guide them to their tables.

    • Facilitate conversation starters and activities to foster interaction and bonding.
